For the Apple Filling: (I use a Johnny Apple Peeler to peel and slice the apples all at once. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and flour until well blended. Pour butter mixture over apples and toss to coat. Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over the apples. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and top is set.
How to make. Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon sugar, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg in bowl. Divide dough in half; shape each half into ball. Heat oven to 400°F. Roll out one ball of dough on lightly floured surface into 12-inch circle.
